Food, food, food. We
need to eat, yes, but sometimes, at some point in our life we stop and find out
that we eat, maybe, not because our physiological needs but for pleasure and/or
comfort. Fair enough! The problem begins when, because of that type/amount of
food, we lose other pleasures like the pleasure to look to ourselves and like
it, love it, be happy with what we are, not to talk about the risks for our
health.
Because we were not
happy with our body, we decided to start a diet. And now comes another problem…
so many options, and we want to do it in a healthy way, in a way that we learn
how to eat healthy and be happy for the rest of our life.
After a long research,
we found out the 31 days diet by Agatha Roquette (a Portuguese nutritionist).
At the first read we were concern about the restriction in fruits and the
amount of protein involved, but after reading her books and other people
experiences we noticed that just happen for some weeks, and then we re-insert
those ones, and see how our body reacts to them, it is a continuous learning process.
As the diet started to
show its effects, we’ve been appealed by our friends and colleagues about what
we were doing to lose weight, we decided to create this blog to share day by day our diet including recipes,
researches and exercises to stay healthy and happy!
